COVID-19 Update

Posted 04/02/2020

We at Engage Technologies Corporation want to send our best wishes for the safety and health of you, your families and your colleagues during this challenging time. In addition, we want to reiterate that we are committed to keeping all of our facilities running during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our focus is to fulfill our customer’s orders because many of them will be supporting their own customers who are working hard to keep production lines going to produce or package essential items such as food and pharmaceuticals. Please be reassured that our sales team, customer service staff and our technical support engineers are all at work and ready to help you with any questions you may have.

The welfare and safety of our employees is our first priority. We continue to utilize preventative measures across all our facilities with most of our non-production employees now working effectively from home.

For those employees who are critical to keeping the production lines going, we have implemented processes to enable social distancing, as well as increased hygiene. We will continue to review and supplement our processes based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and as additional information becomes available. We have been extremely impressed with the flexibility and commitment shown by our employees over recent weeks, especially in our production facilities where they continue to fulfill and ship customer orders. We are a strong and committed group and plan to remain as such throughout these challenging times.

Part of our contingency plan involves building up our inventories. We are confident that we can meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. We already have printers, lasers, Squid Ink manufactured inks, cleaning solutions and solvents in stock, and have also supplemented our inventories of AFM and Eastey products and parts, as well as film supplies. We have arranged to have significant system components inventory in place for Engage’s entire product catalog.

We are in regular contact with our own suppliers and consequently, we are confident in their ability to support our continued production.

Our technical support engineers have implemented new ways of working so that they can provide ‘remote’ technical support when needed and our Sales team is talking with customers daily. Our engineers are also responding flexibly to meet customer availability which is under pressure due to working practices adopted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We will keep you updated regularly and we invite you to contact your Squid Ink, Eastey or AFM representative if you have any questions in the meantime.

We’re all experiencing an unusual time. You and your business are at the heart of what we do at Engage Technologies Corporation and our family of Squid Ink, Eastey, and AFM brands. So with the COVID-19 developing outbreak throughout the world, we wanted to reach out to you and keep you informed of our plans and precautions. Like you, the safety and well-being of our families, our employees, and our customers are of utmost importance to us.

As a valued customer, we are committed to helping you deliver your products to the world. We will continue to uphold our commitment to providing you with the products you need for your business. We respectfully remind you to verify your stock of consumable products (inks, cleaners, spare parts) and let us know how we can help keep you and your customers’ inventories in check.

Our supply chain and our operations are running at full staff and full production in all of our facilities. We have seen only minimal disruptions to our supply chain and are talking with our suppliers on a daily basis. At this point, all of our shipments are on schedule and we continue to track them daily. Proactively, we have a plan to be able to service customers from multiple sites, and many of our office employees have the ability to work remotely if needed to ensure consistent communication and uninterrupted service. We are taking every necessary step to continue to provide the service you rely on, with little to no disruption.

Engage Technologies is monitoring the CDC and MDH directives to make informed decisions as new facts arise. We have been proactively communicating internally about hygiene practices and illness mindfulness to limit the spread of various seasonal illnesses. All Engage Technologies employees have been encouraged to self-monitor for symptoms that could be associated with viral respiratory infections, including Influenza and COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath) before coming to work in our buildings or in the field each day.

Our thoughts are with anyone who may be affected by the coronavirus. We’ll keep you informed as the situation evolves and will work alongside you as we all manage through this unique challenge together.

Thank you for your continued business and trust in our team. Stay healthy.
