Shanghai Squid Ink Manufacturing (SSIM) opened in Shanghai, China in the Spring of 2006. The Shanghai facility contains space for ink manufacturing, printing system testing, repair, and technical support. In addition to manufacturing, the Shanghai location allows Squid Ink to support distribution in Asia and allows for expansion in the global market.
