Squid Ink specializes in the manufacture of high quality inks and ink jet printing equipment for the packaging industry. The company has relied on a wealth of knowledge and experience in the ink jet industry to design a full family of DOD and Hi-Resolution printing systems. Additionally, Squid Ink has been able to formulate the most comprehensive line of Hi-Res, Piezo, DOD and CIJ fluids in the product identification market today.
Breadth of product. Squid Ink manufactures ink for a wide range of package marking and coding applications. Its products are used in industrial ink jet printers manufactured by Videojet®, Marsh®, Domino®, Diagraph®, Matthews® and others. Squid Ink has developed the most comprehensive line of drop-on-demand, hi-res and continuous ink jet fluids in the industry. In response to customer demand, Squid Ink expanded the product line to include the SQ/2, SQ/2 Scorpion and Vector XII DOD printing systems. In 2002, Squid Ink acquired the Leader Corporation, and progressively introduced the PZ Pilot hi-resolution ink jet printing system, as well as the PZ Pilot Plus and PZ/4 Series III hi-resolution ink jet printing systems. Most recently, Squid Ink added the PZ Pilot Pro hi-resolution ink jet printing system capable of printing up to 2.1" of print height from a single head with the ability to run up to four print heads from a single controller.
